Advantages and Disadvantages of being a woman...

I think that being a twenty years old woman in a society like that, has clear advantages and disandvantages.
First of all, in that century there is a more opened mind in terms of the women role.
Young women have many option y their lifes. There ir no women as wife and mother today.
Now, we can study, we can work, we can travel, we can take place in politics things. We can develop us in any area that we want. In the same way as men. Also add to it the vitality and curiosity with the one that tells herself to this age, that it allows you to investigate and to take part in different occasions: from being one evening studying, to play sports or to go out to dance. On the other hand, like women, a wide majority can be employed at diverse works with minor responsibility since they are sporadic works, which allow you to gain an amount of specific money. (But all that momentarily)

As for the disadvantages, the being young women in this company puts us in a vulnerable plane as for the social position opposite to the men. We meet weaker and there continues existing a high degree of machismo that certain times displaces us inevitably towards some specific tasks. (As cooking, to do bathroom, and not to construct or to know self-propelling mechanics) Other disadvantage is to depend on the hormonal period, in which we become very sentimental and of badly humor, condition that prevents us from relating us normally. Other one of the things that it is necessary bear in mind to this age, is the aptitude to be a mother, which puts us in a disadvantageous situation opposite to the men due to having to stop studies and works to focus in the maternity, to this to add him that they are mainly the women who must worry for the contraceptive methods to anticipate early pregnancies. That is to say, to have the complete responsibility of an act that is in mutual agreement.

Oral Presentation: Renewable energies used in Chile.

In mi presentation I'm going to talk about a very important topic for Geographers. It's the renewable energies used in Chile. Our country dependens, as the whole world, on several sources of energy: the coal, the gas, the electricity and specially the oil. The instability in the price and provision of the fuel because of the war in Iraq and the crisis of the Argentine gas they are samples of this relation. And this dependence accents when such sources of energy are limited, exhaustible, not renewable, which provokes a strong economic impact when there are shortage or limitations to his distribution.

77 % of the brute energy consumed in Chile in the year 2001 corresponds to not renewable resources, specifically coal, oil and natural gas. 33 remaining % falls down in the category of renewable energies, as the electricity generated in hydroelectric plants.

Nowadays in Chile interest exists in some circles to promote the use of renewable energies, since they are of low cost of exploitation and virtually inexhaustible.

The energies used in Chile are:

Solar power: It has a participation of 46,3 % in the panorama of the renewable not conventional energies in Chile. The zone in which it is more used is in the north of the country, due to being an area of high solar radiations.

Microhydraulic energy: that has more participation, with 48,5 %

Geothermal energy: 4,4 % of the renewable energy in use in the country corresponds to this variant.

Wind power: His use still is considered to be scanty (0,4 % of the total of renewable energies

Biomass: The biomass is the set of organic renewable matter of vegetable or animal origin.

In summary, in this work, I’m going to try to show and explain the use of these energies, the effects and to indicate the regions in those that focus.

Something about me.

My name is Leslie Bravo, I'm 20 years old, I live in cerrillos and actually I study geography. I really enjoy go out of my house and if it’s outside of the town to places with nature, i’ts better.

Now I will talk about somethings that I like to do: travelling somewhere I can meet new people, helping to old people, giving hugs to my little sister gaby, my parents, the loyal people (like my best friend Panchi<3), my house, my puppy bernie, the 80’s music, internet and facebook, the south roads, animals like birds and horses, sitting and look around, smoking in a relax place, dancing and being with my friends and reading drama's books .

The things that definitely I hate are the lies (and the liers), the malice, the people that lives in a bad way or that are always the victim because they are dark and defeated. I dislike the men who flirting a lot and the cold, is disgusting walk with a cold feet.. maybe that’s the reason because i’m always untimely (or maybe not).
About my dreams … I would really like a house away from santiago, closer to a lake to live in calm, alone. I wish that my grandparents could live forever, Help my family and poor people, make things fine and discover the world.

And finally i’m gonna talk about my  fears, like the forget fulness cause i think that i have good people around me and good experiences with them and ..I dont wanna lose my family, we enjoy together and I love them so much.
