In mi presentation I'm going to talk about a very important topic for Geographers. It's the renewable energies used in Chile. Our country dependens, as the whole world, on several sources of energy: the coal, the gas, the electricity and specially the oil. The instability in the price and provision of the fuel because of the war in Iraq and the crisis of the Argentine gas they are samples of this relation. And this dependence accents when such sources of energy are limited, exhaustible, not renewable, which provokes a strong economic impact when there are shortage or limitations to his distribution.
77 % of the brute energy consumed in Chile in the year 2001 corresponds to not renewable resources, specifically coal, oil and natural gas. 33 remaining % falls down in the category of renewable energies, as the electricity generated in hydroelectric plants.
The energies used in Chile are:
Geothermal energy: 4,4 % of the renewable energy in use in the country corresponds to this variant.
In summary, in this work, I’m going to try to show and explain the use of these energies, the effects and to indicate the regions in those that focus.
Dear Leslie:
ResponderEliminarWord count: 307. Very good.
"Renewable energies" is an interesting topic, be careful to make it interesting and fun, it may become boring if you present only figures.
You need to correct your writing before you use it.
Please check these obs:
